All professionals at Sunset Primary Care maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field.

Scottie Shelley, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Mr. Shelley has 20 years of medial experience. He spent eight years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where he served proudly in Desert Shield. Also was stationed with the U.S. Marines and provided medical care under operations in CONUS and abroad.

He then received his Nursing Degree from Universiy of South Carolina. With experiences in critical care and emergency medicine he then accomplished and completed his Graduate Degree as Nurse Practitioner certified in Adult and Acute Care. He then spent current years as a Hospitalist in South Carolina, primary care for adults and geriatric populations.

He continues to provide quality and low cost care to those with little or no insurance coverages. Mr. Shelley enjoys college sports, outdoor concerts, and the lake on these hot South Carolina days.

Bill Jacoby

Front Office/Personal Injury Coordinator

Bill is very efficient working directly with Accident Injury cases and Attorneys to coordinate care and legal paper work for both the patient and the client. He comes well dressed and with a smile every day. Bill is a hard worker and an asset to our office. He has worked with Dr Margalit for last three years. Bill also has a business for contracting and flipping houses in his extra time.

As a side note Bill is a legacy staff member. His mother, Debra Jacoby, worked with Sunset Family Practice and Dr Margalit as his office manager for over 30 years.

Melanie Goss

Office Manager

Mel recently joined us and brings with her 15 years medical experience. She has been a Registered Medical Assistant for over 15 years. She has experience with pediatrics, family and urgent care. She lives in West columbia with her husband, two teenagers, a dog and one suicidal cat. We are happy to welcome her to our team!
